From the very start it became clear that there was a wide range of needs identified by the community. Instead of trying to “fix” everything ourselves, we decided to create a grant scheme. This means that organisations that already have experience and knowledge could use the grants to develop their schemes and therefore, successfully achieve their targets. We awarded £3,000 Community Grants to enable this.
