DWBL Invested to increase the Range of Creative Opportunities

Eastbourne Studio Pottery CIC – Community Grants – £11,396

Eastbourne Studio Pottery CIC (ESP) was established in May 2016 by three ceramicists and became the anchor tenant of one of the two makerspaces when DC2 opened in January 2017. From its very beginning ESP was a highly successful collective attracting additional artists and now rent 6 of the original 8 studios at DC2, their original ceramics room, the former print room and four further studios which have been combined to create a much larger teaching space. They are currently negotiating to take on the lease directly from the Eastbourne Housing Investment Company.

DWBL Grants awarded:

£3,000 – Equipment for outreach workshops.
